McLeod Ganj

Mcleodganj is a hill station near Dharamshala, popular among trekkers. It is located in Kangra district, its culture is amazing blend of Tibetan with some British influence. It is also known as “Little Lhasa” because of its large population of Tibetans. Triund is an amazing place for beginner as it is one of the easiest trek in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range with altitude of about 2828m and is considered as the heart of Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. Triund is about 9km away from Mcleodganj. It is also an ideal spot for picnic and the clean and pristine environment will surely rejuvenate your senses. One can find a number of Buddhist and Tibetan sovereigns and collectibles in Mcleodganj.
